Menopause hot flashes don't feel like a glow!  So today with the snow storm you still have to layer with cotton, keep hydrated, decide if the wine and hot baths are worth it.  Definitely discuss all the great new choices for hormone replacement therapy with your health care provider.  If you need more info browse around my website.

Instead of looking at the negative, spend time being happy for your good health.  Then take that happiness and energy and establish a new routine that incorporates something you like that makes you a little more active.  Some examples would be Mall walk with your best buddy, take up dancing, grow a garden in summer, cross country ski in winter.  If you feel good walking a treadmill or lifting weights, good for you.  For many of the rest of us:  routine + fun + buddy will  yield the best results.  And .... don't forget the M&Ms.
